On the occasion of their recent Opus Klassik 2025 award for the album GLASS TWO, the duo presents a special interpretation of the music piece Religion by Philip Glass. This composition forms the third part of Godfrey Reggio's Qatsi trilogy: Naqoyqatsi.
The album "Glass Two" offers an in-depth exploration of Glass’s music, presenting works from different phases of the composer’s life and contrasting them with Pascal Schumachers's own compositions. While the musical language is minimalist, the duo’s performances reveal an astonishing richness of timbre, bringing out both the diversity of the repertoire and the depth of their interpretation.
