Original score for 'Europe: La Bataille des sièges' I’m very happy to have created the original music for Europe: La Bataille des sièges (Tarantula) , the new documentary by Donato Rotunno. The film tells the story of how Luxembourg, Brussels and Strasbourg became the institutional homes of Europe — a story of politics, chance, rivalry and vision.

For this project, the music came first: before a single image was shot, Donato and I began shaping a sonic world inspired by film noir, jazz, improvisation and the energy of the 1950s. Together with the Singülar Orchestra (Edward Perraud, Sebastian Studnitzky, Kristof Roseuw and myself) , we spent twice three days in the studio creating the musical material that would later become part of the film’s rhythm, atmosphere and dramaturgy. The film had its world premiere as a ciné-concert at the Philharmonie Luxembourg on Europe Day, with the score performed live by the Singülar Orchestra, and is now in cinemas in Luxembourg.
